DAVID NEMES

David has more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, financial analysis, accounting and problem solving within a broad array of industries. David earned B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance from Miami University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing).

David is currently the managing member of Business Company, LLC, Accounting Company, LLC, Baking Company, LLC (Commercial Bakery), and Tolman's Wholesale Meats (Meat Processor). In his role at Business Company, LLC, he has combined his specialty in business turnaround, sale transactions and entrepreneurship to focus on purchasing businesses that are looking for succession or experiencing distress.

For over half of his career, David has been a subject matter expert to the FDIC on resolving failed banks and managing liabilities associated with those failures. During the banking crisis starting in 2008, David consulted for the FDIC on resolution of over 20 banks.

From 2012 through 2020, he was retained annually by the FDIC's Division of Resolutions and Receiverships (DRR) as an expert on projecting FDIC's total liability associated with the Loss Share Program. This deep expertise in bank failures, distressed asset resolution, and regulatory frameworks positions him uniquely to capitalize on the anticipated C&I credit crisis and potential bank charter opportunities outlined in this memorandum.

James Richardson

James brings over 15 years of senior restructuring leadership and investing experience to Sanguine Partners.

As former Head of PwC’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice for the Southeastern U.S, he has extensive experience serving as an interim executive and advisor to companies navigating financial distress, operational complexity, and change.

His background includes restructuring, turnaround execution, cash-flow forecasting, cost reduction, liquidity management, integration, and debt and capital optimization across four continents, twelve countries, and multiple industries.

James served on the board of the Turnaround Management Association - TN Chapter for several years.

After COVID-19, James took his advisory background and put it into practice as an investor, building up a portfolio of businesses acquired from retiring owners.

James is passionate about partnering with great businesses going through hard times. He believes that with the right people and the right plan, something remarkable can be built from even the most difficult circumstances.

Steve Nemes

Steve has over a decade of experience in finance and accounting. Steve worked at Ronin Partners, a private equity firm, before joining Sanguine.

Prior to joining Ronin, Steven worked as a Manager within the Corporate FP&A group at Perrigo, where he helped lead the company's financial planning and review process. He also held finance leadership roles within three startups, including two medical device companies and an emerging OTC brand selling into major retailers.

Before his time in finance, Steve began his career as a CPA at Plante Moran, where he provided tax advisory services focusing on closely held businesses and family offices.

Steve received a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from Michigan State University and is a CPA in Michigan. His combination of private equity experience, corporate finance leadership, startup agility, and tax advisory expertise provides the financial rigor and operational insight essential for executing Sanguine's distressed acquisition and turnaround strategy.
